Mission

HERA's mission is to promote efficient, equitable and sustainable health systems and health services. In doing so, HERA works in partnership with communities, civil society organisations, public and private institutions, governments and development partners.

HERA aims to be a leader in developing international aid strategies to support accessible, quality health care systems in low income countries. HERA offers the experience of its group of experts to participate in the debate on health policy and development and in strategic health sector planning.

HERA believes in partnership for development. Problem-solving and developing evidence-based strategies is a joint exercise with client organisations and civil society. Creative development of systems and programmes should involve all partners sharing their experience, building their capacity, and improving their knowledge.
